On a wave of growth Simcoe County launches a new corporate brand and tourism strategy.

Tourism Simcoe County hosted dignitaries, including Minister Donna Cansfield (above) and tourism industry representatives at a reception at Horseshoe Resort on October 13, 2009 to announce the launch of Tourism Simcoe County, formerly called the Huronia Tourism Association and to showcase seven experiences that represent the new brand.

THE PLACE TO GROW
Development of a marketing
package to promote industrial
and commercial growth in Milton.

Situated at the western edge of the GTA, the Town of Milton has experienced significant residential and industrial growth. With the dramatic backdrop of the Niagara Escarpment and modern highway access to Toronto to the east and the Niagara corridor and the US border to the west, the Town has attracted automotive parts manufacturers, advanced manufacturing and aerospace, logistics and distribution facilities as well as residential development on a growing scale.

Intent on capitalizing on its growth momentum, the Town of Milton retained Kenneth Caplan and Associates to plan and produce an economic development marketing package that would stimulate further interest in the investment opportunities that Milton offered.

We worked with Milton’s economic development office and a committee of six development firms active in the area. We regularly met with the group through the design and production phases to maintain the strategic flow of the project and to ensure that the key production milestones were maintained.

The design included 16 dynamic sales pages wrapped in a pocketed cover that housed a set of detailed sector sheets. Once the production files were signed off, we contracted and oversaw the printing.
